My dates are fixed. I haven't seen any specials and was hoping they run them. Air Asia is offering some specials for Sprinh travel and I hoped that maybe in the late summer or fall they offer some winter specials, but don't really know.

Air Asia may have a sale, as they do from time to time. But in general, the earlier you buy tickets on Air Asia, the cheaper. As you get closer to your dates the price will go up.

Still, for Jan/Feb travel you can wait a while and see if there is a sale. I would buy the tickets this summer at the latest. Apparently, the flights to/from Burma do sell out.

Sorry, I can't help with Nok Air.

Thanks, Kathie. Good to know they sell out seats to Burma.

Keep checking Air Asia.. I booked an incredible deal way ahead on one of their sales. Register to be a loyalty member and check that you want promotional emails if they still have that option.
We paid $50.00 each Saigon to Bangkok; friends flew same route, same date on Thai Air for $200.00.
Air Asia had new planes, on time.
