We leave later this week for our first ever trip to S E Asia. A year in the planning and I want to thank so many of you on the Asia board for your wonderful input. I feel like I've gotten to know alot about so many of you. Everything seems in place except our final schedule for Bangkok with Tong. Surely that will come in the next couple of days.

Have a wonderful time. How long are you Thailand? I don't remember seeing your schedule. DS, as well as kuranosuke, one of our fodors posters, will both arrive on Apr 15, and I will be there Apr 20. Don't suppose you'll still be there?

Anyway, have a wonderful time! Tong is a gem, as you no doubt know from this forum.

It has been overcast for the past couple of days and even 3 days ago it was quite cool! Strange weather but expect it to be hot and humid. Hope you'll have a great time in Thailand.

This is great!. I remember our first trip and I was bubbling over with excitement from the moment I got on the plane. There's a very good chance that this trip will exceed your wildest imagination. Just let Asia work its magic.
