Thailand in May Really a bad Idea?
I have been to Thailand in December and January. But never in May. Is it going to rain everyday. Would June be a better time? Or just wait and go in December again.
Thanks for the help.

Look at
www.wunderground.com
and you can see weather for any given day for probably 10 years previous, for nearly any location.
Thailand is a big country.
Where are you going?

In answer to your question, yes it may well rain two days out of three, BUT we're not talking all-day rain here. Typically, the rain comes in drenching thunderstorms in the late afternoon (between 3 pm and 6).
The rest of the day will be fine but overcast. It can be a good time to visit if you plan accordingly. Get up early, do your sightseeing, then plan on shopping, getting a massage, or taking a siesta in the late afternoon before dinner.

i went to thailand in may/june in both 2004 and 2005...i was surprised that the weather was not much hoter than in the november/december period....we tended to swim in the AM as it clouded up most days about noon but only rained an hour or less except for two days in a 5 week period each time....
prices are much less at that time of year....i see no difference between the weather in may and june quite honestly...my stays were about may 15 to june 21...
