Help India and BAli

Hey I am trying to plan a trip from south Africa. We want o travel on place on wheels which leaves from Delhi, India on 14 december and then we have two weeks to spend in Bali and surrounds but I am stuck

I need advise on the following:
1) What airline would be the best to travel from delhi to Bali. I understand that we need to do a stop over somewhere but we are caught between kuala lampur and Singapore or maybe another more interesting place, suggestions please!!! (we have already visited hong kong and bangkok)

2). which beach area in Bali have the best five or four star resorts? We want to visit ubud but I am trying to decide primarily between Nusa dua and seminyak

3) Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! I need some inspiration please!!!!

Thanks!!

For Bali, I would avoid Nusa Dua - sterile tourist enclave. Seminyak is nice, and I always like Sanur.

For a stopover, I prefer Singapore to Kuala Lumpur.

no to nusa dua... yes to sanur and seminyak..

air asia flies cheaply from india to bali via kuala lumpur..

singapore would be another, so would thai and i suspect malay too.. you might check kingfisher with a change at some other point..

You can connect in Singapore without a stopover, unless you choose to spend a few days there.

There are 4 & 5 star resorts all over the southern beach area. All offer old, new and recently renovated properties plus choices of private villas. You can see comments on the different beach areas in the thread "different areas in a few words"

Be aware that late December / early January is high season in Bali and rate will be inflated.
