Virgin Atlantic Business Class LAX to LHR and return

I am working on a trip to London and have never flown on Virgin Atlantic and wondered if anyone had flown business class on them from LAX to LHR and back. What was your opinion of the airline and the flight?

Are you talking about upper class or premium economy? I think those are the only 2 classes described on Virgin Atlantic from LAX to LHR.

I have only taken V-A in premium economy would rate that as an OK.

For business class from LAX to LHR return, I prefer Air New Zealand. Flat bed suite, so to speak; remarkable service; cost point over $1,000 less than V-A.

Surfergirl, thanks for your reply. I am planning upper class (which I assume is just another name for Business class). I will look at Air New Zealand also.

I've been in upper class on VS several times. They have flat beds and a bar service. There are 3 classes, economy, premium economy and upper class which is a business class service. Their lounge at LHR is really good and so is the fast track check-in area at T3, esp if you can take their limo service. Entertainment selection is quite good too.

Check which plane it is as that does makes a bit of a difference. That said I have done this route in UC on VA and thought it was great.
