Experience with Ethiopian arranging hotel for overnight layovers in Addis?

Hi, can anyone share feedback on Ethiopian's service with regard to hotel stays for overnight layovers in Addis? I heard the service is quite miserable, with lots of long queues and chaotic procedures to get a room. Is it worth the trouble or should I just pay for a hotel room myself?

Thanks,

if you've heard it's miserable with long lines why would someone here having one good experience make a difference?

I assume the OP is asking to find out if someone went through the process and thought it was worth the trouble. Seems like a perfectly logical question to me.

I don't have an answer.

but if one person here had a good experience, and the rest of the reviews were that it was terrible and time consuming .....

That's not what s/he's asking. They're making the assumption that it's going to be a hassle. That seems to be a given based on what I read in the OP. The question to anybody who's done it that way is: Was it worth the hassle?

It's a perfectly logical question. (I still don't know the answer.)
