Best premium economy to Europe

My boyfriend and I are going to Barcelona either over Thanksgiving or early next spring. We've always flown economy but wanted to just do a little something extra and fly a class up. I've heard some premium economies are nice but I don't know much about it. Anyone have any good recommendations for good premium economy airlines that fly to Barcelona?

I'm flying from JFK (in New York City). It's the closest airport.

Concur with Air France. Their PE will run between $300 and $600 or so, round trip, depending on dates and worth every penny. PE will be on the NYC-Paris segment and then down to BCN basically regular economy unless economy plus (or whatever they call it) is installed in the aircraft.

I recently booked Lufthansa's new PE class, but don't have any first hand experience yet. I found the cost to be reasonable. The reviews are positive on www.airlinequality.com. I'm also excited to check out Lufthansa's new 747-8i, but then I'm an airplane geek.

Let me know how it is on Lufthansa. I've read mixed reviews.

I purchased an introductory fare last Fall when PE was being introduced that was only $200 more than what it would have cost to fly standard coach. I just took another look for our dates/itinerary and the fare has increased $450. I'll post some comments upon return, but the trip is not until October.
