I was wondering if booking airfare over the internet on like expedia and things like that is safe? I work at a place that makes reservations for hotels and I know that if people have problems with internet bookings we cant help them with our customer service and the customer service of expedia and other things don't tend to be helpful. Does anyone know if it is safe and how have your experiences been? Thanks

You "work at a place that maks reservations for hotels"? That makes you an agent. Are you hoping we'll all write in and say how terrible our experience with booking airline tix via the net has been? Are you hopng we'll all say that their customer service sux and that everyone should work with an agent because service is so good?<BR><BR>Nah ganna hap'n!!!<BR><BR>

i am not an agent i just make reservations for hotels i did not go to school or anything like that to do this job. i am an 800 number, the people that you talk to when you make reservations for things like hotels, airlines, etc. get it straight

Jennifer, I also worked for a hotel rez center when I was in college. And to the others, that doesn't make you a travel agent. <BR><BR>Yes, Jennifer, it is safe making airline reservations on the internet if you are working with a reputable web site. If there is a problem you MAY have trouble getting help, but it isn't impossible.
