Anyone love to fly Air France?
I am addicted to Air France, but have to admit, I can't always afford them unless I can get a deal. However, I just got a steal on a flight from ATL to CDG. I have never flown internationally out of Atlanta. This flight leaves at 935pm on a Saturday. With only 1.12 between flights, I'm a little concerned over the connection. But surely that late on a Saturday night, everything should be quiet with no delays?
Also, what check-in, security, etc will I have to go thru having come in to ATL on Delta from New Orleans? Should I be able to accomplish this in an hour's time?
Thanks. It's just that I've never flown anywhere with that short of a connecting time.

I'm little confused. Are you flying on 2 separate tickets? or did you get a good deal out of New Orleans?
When you check in at New Orleans you should be checked all the way through to Paris. There will be no security, check-in needed in Atlanta. You basically get off your flight from New Orleans, walk over to the gate for Paris, and off you go.

You shouldn't have to go through any check-in or security procedures at ATL. Air France flights depart out of Concourse E, so you would simply take the escalator downstairs from whatever terminal you arrive in (most likely Concourse A) and take the train to E. Trains operate frequently and assuming your DL flight is on time, an hour is enough but it always makes me a little nervous to have no other flight options that day.

Sorry for the confusion. I am on one ticket out of New Orleans. First leg into Atlanta on Delta, then ATL to CDG on Air France. It was a combo deal.
Thanks Patty. I know ATL is huge, even though it's been years since I've flown from there. And I am just no good at navigating the airlines' websites to find out the information for myself.
Thanks to you both for easing my mind.
