Weather in Southern Ethiopia

I was wondering if someone could tell me what the best time of year is, weatherwise, to travel to the Omo Valley area of Ethiopia.
Thanks.

Hey,

Am Ash from Ethiopia. With the exceptions of the two rainy seasons; October (the light rains) and March -April(the heavy rains), you can visit the Omo Valley throughout the year. If that is the only time you have October can be doable with minimal inconvenience of the rains but not ideal. March and April have the heaviest rain of the year and should be avoided. Sometimes the heavy rains may come as early as February and continue to as late as the beginning of June. Check the weather forecast for specific dates.

The rest of the year is fairly hot (Dry heat) reaching up to 40 degrees Celsius at the weito and Omo regions in the Omo valley.
