Kenya in Feb-How cold at night?
Everyone talks about how hot Kenya is in Feburary, but does it cool down significantly at night the way it does other times of year? Don't know if we should pack fleeces. Thanks in advance.
(We leave in five weeks, and I'm so excited I can't seem to think about anything else.)

Weather is weather, no guarantees. However, the temperature drop won't be as drastic in February as during the East African winter (Aug-Oct) months, but from 80-90/degrees daytime, to lows of 55/degrees night can be quite a change. You need some kind of coverup, so if it's a fleece or sweater, pack (or wear) something.

Where in Kenya are you going? At higher elevations it can still get chilly at night. Places that are located around 5000-6000 feet, you'll want a light fleece at night and you'll welcome a hot water bottle tucked into bed (which some places do). At lower elevations, it cools down enough so it's comfortable for sleeping but can still be warmish.

I just checked your itinerary thread. Amboseli and Meru will be warmer at night while Lewa and the Mara will be cooler. I hope you enjoy Elsa's as much as we did and please report back after your trip (I'm particularly interested to hear about Lewa). Have a fantastic time!
