Hi all, I am aware that the price for a gorilla track tour in Uganda and Rwanda is now $375 for foreigners, and will be going up to $500 this summer. Does anyone know whether paying now before the price hike for a trek AFTER the price hike costs $375 or $500? The Ugandan wildlife authority responded to my email after two months to let me know they have a spot open, and attached a Word document that lists the price as $375. The email just says to wire them money, but I am wondering if the word doc. they attached is just out of date? Thanks for any help you can provide!

My understanding is that the price increase is based on the trek date, but I could be wrong.

I am assuming this is out of date. I am going gorilla trekking in Rwanda in July, and just wired money... we had to pay 500 for each trek.

We had to pay $500 for our treks in Oct. also.

My safari operator last month obtained permits for me for next January, and the charge is $500 each.
