Droid Depot

Disney's Hollywood Studios

Here you can build your very own droid, on a miniature scale at least. Upon arriving, choose between a BB-series (like BB-8) or R-series (like R2-D2), then select your own color scheme and accessories. Once built, droids can communicate with one another using Bluetooth technology or be driven by their owners with a remote control. Note that droids aren't cheap (prices start at $119.99), and, without a reservation made on the My Disney Experience app, expect a wait just to enter the store.

Dry Creek General Store

For breakfasts, sandwiches, bread, cheeses, and picnic supplies, stop by the general store, established in 1881 and a popular spot to hang out on the porch or in the bar (which stays open into the evening). Beer, wine, and artisanal sodas, ciders, and juices are for sale.

The Dry Dock

The Dry Dock offers clothing, gifts, and accessories (many made of Deer Isle granite) and is described by owner Janet Chaytor as “a creative department store.” That may be overstating the size a tad, but it's understandable given the shop's penchant for hand-carved platters, funky (and locally forged) jewelry, and tote bags hailing images of the area. You won't leave uninspired.

Edith Machinist

Lower East Side

Unique vintage accessories, clothes, shoes, and jewelry make this shop, a few steps down from street level, a must-hit for shoppers with a discerning, quirky fashion sense. Recent finds have included a beaded clutch in the shape of the Statue of Liberty, a 1960s Schiaparelli silk scarf, and a pair of floral sequined slippers.

El Paseo

Parallel to Highway 111 lies "The Rodeo Drive of the Desert," a mile-long, Mediterranean-styled shopper's paradise lined with fountains, courtyards, and upscale boutiques, including those in the Gardens on El Paseo complex. You'll find shoe emporiums, jewelry boutiques, home goods stores, beauty salons, and children's shops as well as two dozen restaurants and nearly as many art galleries. It's a pleasant place to stroll, window-shop, and watch both people and the annual alfresco concert series.  In winter and spring, a free shuttle ferries shoppers from store to store and back to their cars.

El Titan De Bronze

A peek at the intently focused cigar rollers through the windows doesn't prepare you for the rich, pungent scent that jolts your senses as you step inside the store. Millions of stogies are deftly hand-rolled at this family-owned cigar factory and retail store each year. Visitors are welcome to watch the rolling action (and, of course, buy some cigars).
