Bryson City

Bryson City is a little mountain town on the Nantahala River, one of the lesser-known gateways to the Great Smokies. The town's most striking feature is the former city hall with a four-sided clock. Since becoming the depot and headquarters of the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad, the downtown area has been rejuvenated, mostly with gift shops, restaurants, craft breweries, and ice cream stands.
