This July, Just For Laughs, the world’s largest comedy festival, is returning to Montreal for its 35th year. The three-week-long event will host upcoming and big name comedians for galas, podcast and TV tapings, stand-up and more. Over 60+ shows will take place from July 12th-31 in venues all across the city. In past years, the festival has brought 1.35 million visitors to Montreal in the summer.
This year’s co-headliners are Jerry Seinfeld (who last performed at the fest in 1989) and France’s Gad Elmaleh. The lineup also includes The Daily Show’s Trevor Noah, Judd Apatow, Ali Wong, Kevin Hart, Ron Funches, Natasha Leggero, Moshe Kasher, Kate Berlant, and many more. Laverne Cox of Orange is the New Black will host a stand-up gala during the festival.
Tickets go on sale today, and come in packages of two, three, and five (including one free show). Check out the early bird pricing here. This year’s festival is presented by Videotron in collaboration with Loto Quebec.
