Rooms are comfortable, furnished with antiques, and decorated in period style with such features as old-fashioned wallpaper and lace curtains. Private bathrooms are also fitted out in keeping with the era, including the presence of claw-foot bathtubs. It makes for a unique, almost theatrical, experience in historic surroundings.

The comfortable rooms, decorated with aboriginal artwork, have private bathrooms and direct access onto the wraparound deck, screened in summer. Much of the food served incorporates items that have sustained the Mi'kmaq people for centuries. The lounge has games and a TV.
