Fodor's Expert Review Cervecería Cervantes

$ Barrio de las Letras Tapas

Cervecería Cervantes is improbably down-to-earth for such a posh, tourist-oriented neighborhood—the kind of place where you throw your olive pits and napkins right onto the floor. Most patrons come for the ice-cold cañas (half pints), but if you're peckish, there's a fine menu of Spanish standbys including pulpo a la gallega (octopus with potatoes, olive oil, and paprika), empanada (tuna pie), and stuffed piquillo peppers.
