Once the summer escape of Rajasthani royalty, who each had their oversized haveli here (they can still be seen today), today Mount Abu is one of India’s more popular, read crowded, hill stations. This is one of the few towns in Rajasthan where you can dine sumptuously on Gujarati food, given the proximity to the Gujarat border.
