hotel near Victoria Station?
We're spending our last day in London (thanks to advise on this site) before leaving for Gatwick. Does anyone know a good hotel near Victoria Station? THanks Elli

Thistle Victoria is right at Victoria Station, so it couldn't get more convenient than that.
Victoria Park Plaza is a couple blocks away.
There are numerous hotels within three to five blocks of Victoria Station.

If you want to stay in a cool B&B in a neighborhood, stay at the Cherry Court Hotel around the corner from Victoria.
e-mail address: [email protected]
On the web at http://www.cherrycourthotel.co.uk/
Nice rooms for just under 50 pounds.

Jules4je7,
Was just curious as to what you meant by a cool B&B? We just accepted reservations there for a triple, 70 pounds a night, a rather excellent rate considering the location. The rooms are supposed to be smallish, the breakfast is so-so but it's very clean?
Since we don't stay in the hotel much, the size of the rooms don't matter to us.
I understand the Patels are very nice?
Thanks,
MaryC
