Zip line or canopy rides

Does anyone by chance know if there is anywhere in Florida to zip line(Canopy rides)?

I don't know. But, we did one in colorado. www.soaringcolorado.com

It had 22 lines and was 1st class service all the way. very good.

Sorry, No Mountains or canopies in FLorida, thus no canopy tours.

I never thought of these as dangerous, but my friend's cousin was killed on one last week in Utah. The line broke.

I didn't know of any ziplines in Utah. It wasn't rappelling was it? where was the location??

lcuy, that is horrible! I did zip lines in Costa Rica and absolutoely loved it and really wanted to do it again. Now I'll think twice (and more) about it! Do you know if the operator was well known and had a good reputation? Did your friend's cousin research it carefully?

I don't know all the details. It was last Thursday, somewhere near Provo, as that's where they took him. I'll get details later.

My daughter used to help at a zipline here on Oahu, and both she and my DH did the one on Kauai, so we are not anti-ziplines.

I think the main thing is to look to see how carefully the operators seem to be hooking people up, and look to see if the connections at the end look well maintained.
