Your favorite place for Dim Sum in New York City.
Husband and I will be NYC first weekend of August. Would love your insight for the best dim sum in the City. So far I’ve seen mentions of HSF, Jing Fong, Mandarin Court, Ping’s… but the reviews are mixed and some are rather out-dated. Your latest reviews of the best dim sum is appreciated! Thanks all.

The best chinese food in NYC is in Flushing, Queens.
The dim sum at Jing Fong and Sweet n' Tart are prepared for the Chinese palate while Golden Unicorn is makes some concessions to American tastes. The people who offer reviews may or may not be aware of that.

We were just there and ate at Jing Fong for dim sum. We thought it was good but not great. Agree with the comments I got when I asked this same question - "just not as good as you can get in San Francisco".
