Do you have a can't miss ice cream destination in Wellfleet, Truro or PTown? I am partial to Emack and Bolio's Key Lime Pie in a sugar cone but am open to suggestions.

No real ice cream recommendations for these three towns from me.

In Orleans, I did like Sundae School very much. Also enjoyed Ice Cream Smuggler in Dennis a lot. But neither are in Ptown, Truro, or Wellfleet.

I like the Ice Cream Cafe in Orleans, which no one seems to have heard of. We've been going there for years. It's still not in the towns you wanted though.

MareW: where is Ice Cream Cafe? I know Orleans reasonably well and we may go there for Farmers Market>

Eastham has Nauset Ice Cream. Made there. It's on Route 6 on the right just past Brackett Road (where Ben & Jerry's and Dunkin Donuts are located).

The Ice Cream Cafe is at the junction of Routes 6A and 28. They don't get overly crowded, and my husband and I are always surpised by that. Our favorite flavor there is coconut.

There's also a nice little bakery behind it. We get their cappucino brownies when available. They sell out fast.

And now you know our two favorite junk food treats while on the Cape!

I think the bakery is called the Cottage Street Bakery. It's kind of tucked away.

That is the Cottage Street Bakery. The easiest way to find it is just look for the Christmas Tree Shop and it's across the street.
