Xbox adapter for traveling in the car

Has anyone purchased an xbox adapter used for traveling in the car? is the screen big enough to see well enough to play games and watch movies? We are thinking about buying one for our son for the long road trip.

I don't know if this will help or not, but my son says it comes with a 7 inch screen. That is the same size as the built in DVD player in our SUV. They connect their Game Cube to that and play games just fine on it. He wants an adapter for his Xbox, but says it costs too much. I don't know why he would need one for an Xbox when he already has one for a Game Cube, but I'm old and what do I know?

As a parent, I highly recommend some type of TV/VCR/DVD/Xbox/Gamecube for long trips.

Does this mean that you are not having the friend accompany your son? I was wondering how that all worked out in the end...

(I know nothing about xboxes but it sounds fun!!)

Thenks for asking about son's friend, no he will not be coming with us, he decided 2 weeks was too long to be away from home (or too much togetherness with us!)But we were planning on getting one of these multi-players thingys anyway, would have kept them both busy. richbutnot - Xbox, Game Cube, Playstation, all the games that come with them look the same to me, but different(read $$) to the kids.
