Wynn or Wynn Encore???

I already booked the Wynn Encore since it's a newer property, but having 2nd thoughts.
Which is better: WYNN or WYNN Encore?

I know Wynn probably has better restaurant choices, but are the pools at both properties equally the same? How about the rooms? Which rooms are nicer: WYNN or WYNN Encore?

Just 2 adults, no kids traveling...

Thanks for your help!

New is everything in Vegas..have stayed many times at the Wynn butI hear that Wynn Encore is a mirror image and very luxurious and stunning property..you never want to leave.
Did you get a good deal?

$109 midweek for the Wynn.
Love Alex, Okada and DB Brasserie at the Wynn.
Food is excellent.
I think you'll be just fine.
Ask for a free upgrade..can't hurt.
Have a great time!

I stayed at the Wynn last February, and was very pleased. If you do decide to stay there, be sure to ask for a room as high up as possible that overlooks the Strip. You can see the mountains in the distance and it's absolutely gorgeous. Not sure if Encore has that view, but it probably does. By the way -- the bathroom in our room was absolutely stunning!!!

I've stayed at both in the last year. Both are very similar; I really didn't prefer one over the other. To me, Wynn has a much better pool, better restaurants, and the same slot machines have have lower maximum bids in the Wynn casino. Rooms in both were huge, beautiful and fun. Encore hallways seemed longer, but maybe it was just that my room was more toward the end in the Encore. Fabulous views in both if you are on a high floor.

The two hotels are connected on the casino floor level. its about a two minute walk between them.

I thought the parking was a bit better at Encore. Easier to get out on the cross street instead of the strip.
