Woohoo! Springtime in the Rockies and It's Dumping!

Lots of people ask where to go for good spring skiing.

Utaaah!

Snowbird has had 124 inches of snow (over 10 feet!) in just the last 12 days! Annual total (up to today) is 520". April skiing in the Cottonwood Canyons is usually very good. Check out the "photo of the day" at the Snowbird web site, www.snowbird.com.

I've driven down to work in SLC in near blizzard conditions 3 days this week.

Dayle - that makes me jealous. Was in Telluride two weeks ago and the weather was warm and beautiful, but they sure needed more snow. Spring skiing is always a roll of the dice though.

Dayle, did you get any skiing in? Wish I was there! Our weather is beautiful here yesterday and today although it is supposed to rain next week. Looks like Easter weekend will be nice. Supposed to snow on Monday the 13th so there is hope yet for a little more skiing in the Sierras.

The snow at Deer Valley Resort was really great last weekend. Unfortunately the big news in town is how homeowners might start dumping Premier Resorts Deer Valley Lodging as a property manager. You can check it out here Deer Valley Lodging

Skiers - Snowbird and Alta have had another 36 inches of snow in the last two days! Deer Valley and The Canyons have closed for the season now, but Park City Mtn Resort has extended their season since there is so much great snow!
