Universal Studios - Orlando

How many days do you need to see Universal Studios and Sea World? My kids are 11 & 9 years old.

Thanks

Sea World easily in one day. Universal, 2 to do it right. If you stay in one of the Universal on-site hotels, you will be afforded fast access to all attractions. This is a separate line that you may use repeatedly, greatly increasing the number of times you may enjoy each attraction. We've been happy with both the Portofino and Hard Rock hotels. Our children prefer Universal to Disney.

Have a great visit.

Essential question: Are you staying on-site at Universal, so that you have front of the line priveleges? If so, you need a lot less time than if you had to stand in line.

The Hard Rock Hotel is the closest to the parks, but it is noisy. Portofino is quieter. You need one day each for Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, and Sea World.

You definitely should plan a day each for the two Universal Resorts. And it is worth it to get the front of line privlidges....but you still can spend a day at each park...if you finish one early then check out the hotel pool!

I have 9 and 12 year old kids and we prefer the Royal Pacific Hotel over the others. More kid friendly. A good pool and "beach" area. The Portofino is more adult oriented and the Hard Rock is more party/young adult oriented, in my opinion.

Do the kids ride roller coasters or other extreme rides? If not, you can zip through both of the Universal parks pretty darned quickly.
