Wine Country...Please Help!
My husband and I are celebrating our wedding anniversary in June and we've chosen the Blackbird Inn in Napa and the Raford Inn in Healdsburg (price was a definite factor...LOL). My question...which of the above towns is more charming and romantic? Thanks, everyone, for your help!

Hey Kim, Rick just told me that we're trying Cyrus next time we go. I'll also be making my 4th trip to Willi's seafood. The town of Napa is the most "industrialized" in the area. Healdsburg is a charmer, for sure. Not only is it right in the heart of things, you can spend a whole day just walking the town , shopping and visiting tasting rooms. Rosenblum is our favorite! I don't think we paid a tasting fee in any of them either. The Center Street Cafe is a terrific little place for breakfast or lunch, too, and reasonable.

>> If you drive from Napa to Healdsburg take the Silverado Trail, nicer then Hwy.<<
This is half-correct. The Silverado Trail ends in Calistoga in the Napa Valley. In Calistoga, drive west through town & pick up the lovely Hwy #128 north over the mountains & through the Knights Valley & Alexander valley. This is one of my favorite drives in the wine country. When #128 dead ends into another road, turn left (west), and follow that road into Healdsburg. Stop at the Jimtown store along the way & pick up a sandwich or soup for lunch.
