Willamette Valley lodging
We will be going there in mid-October hoping to see some of the vineyards and do some tasting in between work sessions. Which towns are smack in the middle of the wine tasting area and where would be a nice hotel or B & B in the $150 to 175 range to stay at? Thanks for your help.

The McMinnville/Dundee areas would be an ideal spot. While I have not personally stayed in these places (I live nearby), the Youngberg Hill B&B (www.youngberghill.com)and Black Walnut Inn (www.blackwalnut-inn.com) both get good reviews and are highly regarded in the community. If you want a more fun, interesting place, try the McMenamins property, the Hotel Oregon (www.mcmenamins.com).

We stay at the Youngberg Inn (www.youngberghill.com) a lot and LOVE it!. We have also stayed at the Avellan Inn ( www.avellaninn.com) which is more homey and only has 2 couples at a time. Springbook gets great write ups (www.nutfarm.com) and is right next to JKCarriere
