Point Reyes...favorite place to stay?

Please share your favorites.

Ideas: Marsh Cottage
Grey's Retreat
Blackthorne Inn
Olema Inn
Olema Druids Hall
Point Reyes Seashore Lodge
One Mesa
Manka's
Ten Inverness
Holly Street Inn & Cottages

Prices are steep at some of these.
Would appreciate ANY recent reviews or favorites. Having a tough time knowing where to go for hubby's b-day. Thanks in advance.

Also have heard of Roundstone Farm

Any others?

Has anyone heard of the Bear Valley Inn or tried it?

Seems 10 Inverness Way is booked.
Thanks!

Here's a vote for Roundstone Farm...not cheap, but great rooms and a excellent breakfast.

We have stayed at Roundstone Farm and liked it. Nice rooms and peaceful. Our favorite was the now-out-of-business Sandy Cove Inn. I've been looking at the Pt. Reyes Seashore Lodge because the price is a little more reasonable, but have yet to stay there. Have a good time!

Not places to stay, I'm afraid but I thought I should mention Marhall's Oyster farm in the tamales bay area (en route to Point Reyes). The most wonderful oyster farm with so many different kinds of oysters that you can shuck yourself and eat at picnic tables by the water.

...mmmmm, oysters.

Hehe. Yes, I think you are right. Hog Island. You have to forgive me. The only thing I can remember after eating those delicious oyrster is 'part' of the name. I knew Marshall was in there somewhere.

Thanks for the additional recommendations & for sharing.

Yes, I wish Sandy Cove were still open...I was just about to try them when they closed. (I guess permanently?) Thanks again!
