I'm not flying on the 11th, but I will be flying the next day from Newark to Chicago for a weekend trip to surprise my dad for his 87th birthday. I must admit that the fact that it is so close to 9/11 anniversary does give me some pause for a little uneasiness, but it hasn't stopped me from going ahead with travel plans and flying at anytime since 9/11/01. I guess I figure that we're probably at the very least somewhat safer in the air than we were 2 years ago...in any case, I guess I'm just really bracing for the usual Friday afternoon rush hour flight delays and hassles in a Newark to Chicago flight route!

M55,
Hellooooo
!
You know ChiTown won't be the same without you and The Kals there...but ALL the best to your Pops!
He done a fine job!
Now, I have to go watch the ESPN PreGame.
Isn't it better since they got Limbaugh on there?

Hey there, Scarlett!!! I'll be leaving on Continental at 2:45, so we're pretty close in timing, except I'll be leaving from Terminal A, and I think you'd be leaving from C
Let me know if I'm wrong about this - if I am, maybe we can meet up...
