will this work?

we are planning a trip for June 23- july 3 and this is my itinerary. I have been reading this site for months and have decided to finally post my trip for your opinion.
day 1 drive to Eagle River Motel since our flight is so late.
day2 drive to Denali with a stop at Talkeetna and also any other sights along the way. Stay @ Parks Edge.
day3 8:00 shuttle to Wonder Lake. Stay @ Parks Edge.
day4 drive to Fairbanks. Do the Riverboat cruise. Is this someting that is worthwhile or should we skip it? stay at Comfort Inn Chena.
day 5 I want to drive to the Arctic Circle but that is proving to be a problem. They do not rent vans for 1 day and there are 8 of us so I'm unsure what to do. stay Fairbanks
day 6 drive to Copper Center with stops along the way. stay at Copper center Lodge. Is this lodge as bad as Some of you have said?
day7 drive to Valdez with stops. Stay @ Aspen Hotel
day8 Drive to Palmer with stops/ Stay @ Valley Hotel. I know this is a long drive.
day9 Drive to Seward and stay at Murphys Motel Or Trail Rivers GardensB&B cabin for 2 nights.
day 9 do the Kenai Fiords tour and stay as Seward.
day 10 Tour the Kenai Pen. and stay at Trail Lake Lodge.
day 11 Tour Anchorage and return our car and head home.
Please give any ideas as I am planning this for my family and want to see as much and do as much as we can in the time we have. Thank you

The odds of this being seen by the people with the most knowledge about your question are poor.

"Will this work?" is not a good subject line. It gives people no clue about the topic or even the part of the United States you are interest in.

I'm not saying this to chew you out, but so that you won't leave thinking people here are rude and ignoring you.

Welcome to Fordors Forums!

I would cut out the Arctic circle not much to see.

I would also cut one night out of Seward. Two nights is plenty.

I have done Palmer to Valdez and back with only one night. Yes, it is a long drive but really beautiful. Go fishing there. It is fabulous.

Have not been to Fairbanks, so I cannot comment.

I only have a few answers for you so I do hope that others will jump in to give you more information. My sister and I loved the Riverboat Discovery Tour in Fairbanks, but my husband refused to go and played golf instead. To each his own. We only stayed one night in Fairbanks, but squeezed in a lot. I had breakfast at the Copper Center Lodge and loved that, but we stayed at the Copper River Princess for less money. I believe that there was a Toursaver Coupon, which we couldn't use, but we called them and they gave us a very good rate. We loved the drive to Valdez and enjoyed just walking around town and looking at the rabbits--everywhere--and the museums. We took the ferry to Whittier, so I can't comment on the drive back to Palmer. The views are so beautiful and the days so long that driving is not difficult, particularly with lots of stops and stretches. Just be sure to pack snacks, water, and stop whenever you can for gas. I think you will wish you had a little more time on the Kenai. WE spent 5 days between Seward and Home and that wasn't enough. Enjoy your trip.

Valley Hotel is smack right next to the street in downtown Palmer--traffic can be noisy all night. It is better quality than the other hotels which are decrepit, but hopefully you're a sound sleeper if you stay there. There are so many gorgeous B&Bs and cabins right around Palmer at www.alaskabnbhosts.com
