Will be there in June & July

My husband & I will be going to Maui along with our 19 yr.old son & his 18 yr old girlfriend on June 25th ,2002 & returning July 5, 2002 . We are staying at the Hyatt Regency Resort & Spa. Has anyone stayed there & how are the rooms & service?
What kind of things should we do & see - Never been before! Thanks

Linda, ignore the previous post.

The Hyatt is a great property in a great location on a great beach (Kaanapali Beach). You can't do much better. It would take an hour to suggest all the things there are to do.

The same sort of parents that let their daughter go live in a college dorm without them, I guess. They aren't going to do anything in Hawaii that they're not already doing at home.

I stayed at the Sheraton but took a walk down to the Hyatt. The place was wonderful!!!! Next time we will be booking there....

We enjoyed the drive to Hanna and swimming in the 7 sacred pools, swimming with the giant turtles (down by the Sheraton - they hang by the rocks), getting up at 2AM to ride to the top of a volcano, see the sunrise and then bike down and of course shopping & eating.
