But it's extremely easy to get from Amtrak/30th Street to Suburban Station or Market East - almost all the Septa trains go between 30th Street, Suburban Station, and Market East. Connecting at 30th Street is simple, and you can get to the other two stations in about 5-10 minutes, on many trains. I would certainly not avoid the Amtrak train because it takes an extra 10 minutes to get downtown, when Amtrak could save you over an hour and give a much nicer ride. The only reason I can think of to avoid the Amtrak train is the extra cost.
