Which Westin is closest to Wrigley?

We'll be visiting Wrigley in May to attend two games vs The Mets....which Westin Hotel is closest to the stadium? Also, any recommendations for one lunch and one dinner? We love great food in a casual atmosphere. Thanks so much.

According to the Starwood Hotels website, the one on Michegan Avenue is 3 miles from Wrigley. The one on Dearborn is 7 miles from Wrigley.

Wrigley is in a neighborhood (Wrigleyville) north of the downtown area so neither are close but the MI Ave location is closest. It's very accessible by the Red Line El or bus or cab though. As for restaurants, there are many in the area-what did you have in mind? Heaven on 7 on Clark is a great Cajun place...

Either location would be good for Wrigley. The red line (which I highly recommend even over a cab takes about 15 minutes and costs $1.75 Addison station is next to Wrigley) is just a couple of blocks from either one. Westin River North is closer to downtown (and on a weekend might be a bit "quiet") but the River North area has the trendier restaurants. Westin Michigan Avenue is right in the shopping area, restaurants are more touristy but it is also closer to the lake front, one of Chicago's big pluses. Enjoy Chicago!

Thank you for all of the helpful advice.

It will be my first trip to Chicago and I can't wait.....I know many people who consider it their favorite U.S. city.

Just to correct Craig's information from the Starwood site - those two Westin hotels are only a mile or so apart, and 3-4 miles from Wrigley (where they got that 7 mile figure I'll never know!). I've walked it in nice weather - you can cut through the parks and zoo. The one on Dearborn is the newer property.
