Which tower at Hilton Waikoloa village?

Hi - Can anyone recommend which tower to request at the Hilton on the Big Island and also any thoughts or reviews of the resort would be appreciated!

Hi Not to butt in your post travelingirl (similar to my poster name!!), but I am wondering the same thing about the Oahu location. So, if any of you out there have stayed at either one, please tell.
Thanks.

I don't think there is a reason to request one tower over the other at the BI. The rooms are very nice in all towers. The only reason I could think of would be to choose a tower closer to the lobby if you want a shorter ride by tram or water taxi. I stayed in the one furthest away and enjoyed the transportation options to and from. I also liked the small quiet adult pool next to the tower as an option to the big feature filled pool in the midst of the resort. The resort is big but we enjoyed it thoroughly. The curry dish on the room service was so good I wanted to eat in more than usual!

We stayed in the Ocean Tower and the view was incredible. Almost all of the Ocean Tower rooms have a view of the ocean because of the figure-8 design. All three towers are very nice though. If you have kids, the Lagoon Tower may be a better choice because of the proximity to the bigger pools with water slides, etc. If you're elderly or challenged and don't want a long walk, the Palace Tower is most convenient to the lobby. Honeymooners and adults w/o kids would probably enjoy the Ocean Tower the best. The HWV is an outstanding property overall - ENJOY!

I believe it was the Ocean Tower that had the breakfast buffet on the main floor so that was pretty handy for us.
