which I-95 motel near Jacksonville?
We'll be driving north from Naples and will need to stop for the night somewhere around Jacksonville (or southern Georgia). Is there one motel that stands out from the others? newer? quieter, etc? And that would be near a decent restaurant (at least of the caliber of , say, Outback or Carrabbas?) Thanks!

go to freetrip.com Enter your starting and ending, scroll down a bit and check off the hotels in your price range. It will list hotels for the entire trip. My choice has become the Holiday Inn Express. Clean and a decent free continental breakfast.

There are a bunch of hotels/restaurants in Kingsland, GA which is the very southern part of GA, so not far from Jacksonville at all. These are right off the freeway, so that makes it nice and easy. There is a Holiday Inn Express there as well.

There is a nice (nearly new) Radisson near Jacksonville. We got a great rate for it on Priceline. Less than $100. We did have to prepay. There is a nice restaurant within one block and within the same exit. I can't remember the name but you'll see it.

A year and a half ago, we stayed at the La Quinta at Butler Blvd and 95..there are some restaurants around the hotel, it was brand new when we were there, clean and quiet. And the price was ridiculously cheap, I think it was about $79 a night or so.
There is a Crackerbarrel behind it, an Applebys within walking distance and some other fast food places across Butler.
