Which hotel in Washington, D.C.?

I do not recall the Sofitel, nor have I seen the rooms at the Willard, but the lobby at the Willard is worth staying there (or at least stopping in for a look)

When I asked the same question in another forum, one responder said that the Westin was a bit tired. Comments?
