Which hotel in Scottsdale?
We are a group of four 40-something moms who are getting a 3 night getaway. Our #1 priority is beautiful pool(s), #2 restaurants and shopping. We don't mind taking Uber for food/shopping but don't want to be way out of town either. We have heard to check out The Phoenician, Royal Palms, Hyatt Regency and the Four Seasons. Can anyone local comment?

The only hotel I've stayed at in Scottsdale was Talking Stick Casino Hotel. It was very nice and reasonably close to stuff we wanted to do (driving). They had some good shows there too.

We stayed at the Smoketree which was lovely. A few years ago now so things could have changed.

Suites at Gainey Ranch, and Hyatt Gainey Ranch.
i just got an email from Travel Zoo offering huge discounts at Hyatt Gainey Ranch too. It is a beautiful hotel. With temperatures rising, there will be lots of deals available. June is the worst month of the year in AZ, heat w/o rain which comes in July to September.
PHX has to shut down sometimes due to extreme heat in June.
