Where would you go in Mid May?

My husband and I and his family are planning a trip in Mid-May but are unsure where to go. We have done Hawaii and LOVE it, but we are looking for something different. We had talked about going to Hilton Head??? We are using a Marriott timeshare so that has to be in location. We like adventure, food, relaxing...pretty easy to please.

If you had your choice where would you go??

Excited to hear!

maybe you should think about a cruise? i went on a weeklong cruise in the Caribbean and it was all of the things you mention...adventure, food and relaxation. There's something for everyone on a cruise, too.

You'll get more assistance if you also list a handful of candidate locations with Marriott timeshares, as I'm sure most people don't know those off the top of their heads.

Travelmom...

have ytou considered Grand Cayman or Aruba? We love both and both have Marriott timeshares I believe. Never been to Hilton Head though I hear it is very nice.

Also, we are considering Hawaii for our next vacation. Which island did you stay on?

As I hate golf, I'd probably end up at the Marriott timeshare property in Boston (the Custom House). It's such a great town, and that's a great time to visit.

But that's me. Anyone else?

Good idea travleis!
Here are some Marriott options:
Aruba
Florida
Mexico
Spain
Thailand
St. Thomas

However...if someone has a rave review about a specific place we may save the Marriott points for another day and go to that site!

Thanks!!

rjw_lgb_ca- The Custom Hosue is AWESOME! We were there in September and LOVED it! I am not a golfer either but my husband is...I like to drive the cart though??

Kristen1206: Those two suggestions are great! Have you been to either? I hear Aruba is nice, but dry...not like Hawaii. My brother and sister in law went to the Grand Caymen's and said it was wonderful...scuba was amazing.
As for Hawaii:
We normally go to Kauai...my FAVORITE place on earth! However we went to Maui as part of our honeymoon back in 2000 and we are going to Oahu this April. If you have any questions about Hawaii I'd love to tell you what I know.

Wendyj- which cruise line did ou go on? What ports of call were on your itinerary?

Well if you're up for it, I'd strongly recommend the Marriott Vacation Club in Phuket, Thailand.
This is one of the world's premier tropical vacation destinations, with a big splash of exoticness to add flavor. Very long, pristine, uncrowded beaches with light (in many places), soft sand (always included in lists of the world's best beaches); great resorts; very active nightlife; great diving; great shopping.
It's certainly a lot more memorable than Aruba and Cayman....nothing aginst those places. They're great for relaxing getaways. But Phuket is a full-spectrum destination. Not just a beach on a rock.
