Where on the Gulf Coast has no Oil Rigs?

I was wondering if there are any nice beaches on the coast that don't have oil rigs? We went to Corpus Christi a couple years back and between the warnings signs to not open drums that wash on shore with used medical waste and the Oil rigs, it just made me feel like I was sitting in the middle of a toxic pool.

Is there any uncommercialized areas?

Thanks!

Sorry I tried it again. This is supposed to be posting under "Texas" and it keeps coming up in the US category.

Jenny, ALL postings about the States show up in the US forum. The form you are using for TEXAS is a search forum. Anyone looking for something about Texas will put "Texas" in the "search" block and pull up just those posts that concern Texas.

Don't worry, everyone from everywhere, not just Texas, will see this post.

You need to go farther east perhaps or maybe farther west/south along the coast.
