Where is your favorite place to buy luggage in New York City

I'm looking for a new ultra lightweight suitcase. At a couple of airports this summer I found some bags I really liked, for what looked like reasonable prices but when I got home and looked for them on line I either couldn't find them or they were might higher priced (opposite of what I was expecting). Anyway, I'll be in NY next weekend and wondered if anyone had any suggestions for places with large selections, decent prices. Thanks

Lexington Luggage on Lexington Ave, a bit north of Bloomingdales. We've worked with Brice and he has always discounted the prices.

TJ Maxx always has good prices and a large selection. Marshalls is in the same building of the one on 6th ave. &18 st. Brice has great lightweight pieces if you want the hard sided kind, but much more expensive. TJ Maxx has had similar styles for a fraction of the price. I'm sure they're not as well made though.

LOL I was thinking of BRICS luggage. Sorry. Their hard sided cases are light as a feather. http://www.brics.it/usa/collections-us/travel-us

You might try Century 21 stores.

There is one on Broadway & 67th St (across from Lincoln Center) and there is one in lower Manhattan at 22 Cortlandt Street (across from the WTC site).

I love the carryon that I bought from Muji. It has spinner wheels.
