Where is Little Italy?

I keeping reading about Little Italy for Restuarants. I can't find it on a map of NYC. I'm planning our first trip to NYC. Where is it?
Thanks.

Little Italy is Mulberry and Mott streets between Spring and Grand or so. Can't miss it. Via subway, you can take the 6 to Spring Street and head east a few blocks.

LIittle taly has reducd in size over the years. Currently it runs on Mulberry St. from Canal to Spring St. At Grand and Mulberry if you go east or west one block you will find additional Italian places of business. From the west side take an N or R train at the Times Square station to Canal Street and walk to Mulberry.

Little Italy is the part of Manhattan island that is currently being overtaken by Chinatown.

Get off on Canal Street and walk up towards Mulberry. Mulberry Street is most of Little Italy.

It's adjacent to Chinatown which may be more interesting if you can handle the crowds, better quality and lower prices.

for a more authentic italian neighborhood, you might want to head to the Bronx to Arthur Avenue....it's close to the Bronx Zoo and Bronx Botanical Gardens. We have done an early start at the zoo, and then to arthur ave for a late lunch.
