Where can we eat dinner before a Cleveland Indians game?
We are going with my parents in two weeks and probably don't want to go anywhere too too expensive. Oh and within walking distance of Jacobs Field. Someone mentioned the Winking Lizard once, but do they have good food? I've only been to the one in Coventry once and it seemed more like just a bar.
Oh, and no to Panini's... did that once but it was too hard to get an outdoor table (we lucked out).
Thanks!!!

Hard Rock is ok... we used to eat there a lot, but a few months ago they were on the news for health code violations.
I've heard 1 good review of Cooperstown and 1 bad...
A few others have recommend Fat Fish Blue, where is this and whats it like?
Thanks!

Amelie,
I've always found the restaurants around Jacob's Field to be really somewhat blah and very crowded. I confess that when we go to up to Cleveland for games I look forward to the nachos and other ballpark food! Thus we avoid the "where to eat" question. Have you tried looking at online sources for reviews? I often consult chowhound.com or northernohiolive.com for restaurant reviews and those steer me in the right direction. By-the-way, this month's password for the northernohiolive.com Gourmet Guide is "wonton".

uh because we won 9 out of the last 10 games, and are 2 games away from being in first (over Minn). Also, if you know anything about Cleveland, you'd know we are all die hard fans.
We went last night and had hotdogs, and they were nothing to rave about. Very chewy and old tasting
When we go in two weeks with my parents, we are going to try out Flannerys. I liked the review the News Herald gave them.
Thanks for the helpful suggestions!
