When is the rumoured opening date of the BART SFO link to to downtown
www.bart.gov still states they are 'testing' - any reasonable date anyone heard on when they absolutely will be done???

That is one of the bigger mysteries ever. I suspect that are grappling with some safety issue that they don't want to tell anyone about.
There have been lots and lots of delays, and "environmental impact" is freaquently cited, but not in a way that I find believable, thus my hypothesis that it's a safety thing.
I wouldn't hold my breath for July (but I would keep checking from time to time).

The last I heard (last month) the best guess seemed to be May or later, with nobody willing to say how much later. BART has stopped giving projected opening dates, so that they can't be wrong yet again.

Oh well, looks like I'll be taking a taxi in May! I found a website that will e-mail news on the SFO-BART situation. I think it was www.transitinfo.org.
