What's the current price of gas on the East Coast?
I'd like an idea of the gas prices on the US East Coast at this moment. We're trying to calculate what a trip to NC in July would cost. I realize that prices could go higher or lower by then.
Can anyone between New York and North Carolina tell me what the price per gallon is today?
Thanks

Are you talking about on or off the interstate (I assume you will be using I-95) or both since the prices will obviously vary.
Have you tried using www.gasbuddy.com
I paid a little more than $3.00 a gallon for 93 Octane in Arlington, Virginia earlier this week.

We'd be driving down the interstate from to Pennsylvania (staying with SIL outside Philly), then probably continuing on the interstate to the Outer Banks. In NC, we'd be using gas bars off the interstate.

Here IN NC, the range is from $2.91 to $3.05. As others are saying, location relative to major highways is always a factor.
You might try plotting a trip based on where there are Costco's with gas stations there. ;-)

Just a suggestion: try not to get gas in MD. NJ is MUCH cheaper, and so is VA. DE is a little cheaper. If you absolutely have to get gas in MD, try to get it before hitting Baltimore. It's slightly cheaper than when you get into Baltimore City & points south.
In Silver Spring, it's right around $3/gallon.
