Reasonable Airfare to Honolulu??
Hi everyone!
My husband and I are planning a trip to Hawaii in August from the east coast (Charlotte, NC). Looking into the airfare, I'm trying to figure out what should be our "buying price". What I mean, is what is a good enough price that I should buy rather than waiting to see if the price drops more? Right now, I've seen $580 a piece. Is $550 an unreasonable hope? And does the price start to jump? I'm sure it does, so I guess I'm interested in when.
Thanks!!

Agree with Merry. I'm headed to HNL in two weeks from PVD through EWR, and I paid $620, including taxes and fees. You may want to log on at very off-peak times to see what happens (i.e., 2 AM on a Wednesday night). I've done this a few times to pretty good results. Good luck!

Just a few days ago tickets from Asheville, NC to honolulu were $257 a person if you could go between now and end of May! I NEVER thought I'd see a price like that from the east coast. My parents tried to buy them but waited to long to make a decision, tickets were gone by the time they tried to book.
