What's going on in Vegas 4/16-4/23 ?
I'm locked into a rate for the week for our trip to Vegas, but I check daily and prices keep going up ! Anybody know if something BIG or special is going on ? Just curious. Thanks.

I know that the NAB (National Association of Broadcasters) Convention is 4/16/04 - 4/22/04. My girlfriend and her husband are going that week because he is attending the convention. I'm going too so that she and I can do our thing while he's "working".
We are getting the convention rate at the hotel (Flamingo), but I noticed the rates are high that week. Even the convention rate is more than I would normally want to pay at the Flamingo.
It's probably going to be a zoo. Oh well, it will be fun anyway. At least I won't be at work, right?
