Las Vegas Stay
This is not a spam message.
A friend at work told me about an advertisement he heard on the radio touting a free stay in Las Vegas. I called it and it turned out to be one of those timeshare deals, however they pay for your hotel stay (4 days, 3 nights).
My wife and I are going in mid February, staying at the Monte Carlo for 3 days (for that I had to pay $100). The company is footing our bill, and we have to go to a 2 hour time share touting session.
If anyone wants the number let me know, I figured it’s a good deal so you guys might want to know.

Not if they are tough enough not to fall for the sale pitch. I have never done one of those but I know plenty who have and none of them admit to falling for the trap. The Monte Carlo is my favorite Las Vegas hotel. I have not been there in a while and I believe they have renovated in the past 2-3 years but it's nice that you do not have to go thru the casino to get to your room. It is not overtly themey (compared to some of the others).

LadyPhoenix, I'd be a sucker only if I came back with a timeshare in Reno, and that's not going to happen. So I figured I got a Vegas vacation (we were going to go anyway) with hotel paid.

Well, we did something like this - years ago. We didn't get our room free or anything, but got a couple of dinner shows in exchange for the "hard sell". We were sorry we went because it took up so much of our time.
We got to someplace (in the desert!) and had a breakfast (and listened to a talk during that) Just a mediocre breakfast at best.
Then to a room where they talked with everyone individually - after a group talk. Once they knew that we weren't buying anything, we were sent to a separate area to wait for the others. Well, we did. Waited and waited. Finally the other people on the bus came dribbling back in and FINALLY we were able to leave. But it ended up taking a long time.
Just be aware of what you will have to endure to get the freebies. Of course you will say no to the sales pitch, but be aware that you'll lose a large chunk of time - if that's important to you.

There is no "free" in this world. Everything has a price, in this case your TIME. If you time is worth nothing to you then do it. If it is then don't. Personally speaking, it is the last thing I'd do ... but each to their own.
