Hawaii? I thought all posts that asked questions but never gave a hint about where they were talking about were automatically assumed to be New York -- the "center of the universe" -- has that "rule" changed?

My guess is that aliwnec10 posted this question on the "Hawaii board"...or so she thought. She's not a frequent poster so may not know all posts are dumped into the "general" category.

Well, I'm glad I "did" Maui, but I have no desire to go back. The other islands, yes.

Ha. To stay on the poster's completely obtuse and hard-to-understand but still interesting topic....I would NOT go to Hawaii with my parents again! I would NOT go to the top Haleakala when there is cloud cover. I would NOT go to the luau at the Sheraton. I would NOT go look at the Io Needle. I would NOT stay in a condo without air conditioning in August. Most importantly, I would NOT worry about how fat I look in a bathing suit--Lord knows people worse off than me sure don't care.

That's just for starters. I'm sure I could think of 100 other things.
