what would you NOT do again???

is there something you wished you skipped or that you would have done differently??

SAnParis Jul 21st, 2006 07:39 AM

Um, no...you start doing that & you have the possiblity of changing who you are, who you are with, & where you are in life. I'll just happily keep things "as is".

Lily Jul 21st, 2006 07:40 AM

I wish I had skipped to work this morning but I walked instead.

JAGIRL Jul 21st, 2006 07:42 AM

SAn,
I agree with that except that I really wish I could re write the past five years of my life. :))

Would write that DEH (damn ex- H) of mine right out of the script! :))

starrsville Jul 21st, 2006 07:48 AM

I wished that I had NOT responded to a couple of posters on this board. Offer help - get bashed instead.

SAnParis Jul 21st, 2006 07:49 AM

JAGIRL - But you must think of all the consequences that would follow that decision. Had I not been married to my first ex, I'd not now be married to my current wife & have my two beautiful kids. I'd have been married to someone else (maybe) & be who knows where. I'll keep my past & present just as they are, thanks very much.

SAnParis Jul 21st, 2006 07:49 AM

I'm waxing a bit philosophic today I guess...

GoTravel Jul 21st, 2006 07:55 AM

Yes, I got accepted to study at Manchester College at Oxford University between my junior and senior year of college and blew off the whole deal.

I was more interested in spending my summer waiting tables at the beach chasing some boy.

My parents were livid. Looking back, as they should have been.

Kal Jul 21st, 2006 07:59 AM

I would never be a Klique who would have me as a member.:))

jbass Jul 21st, 2006 08:24 AM

I wished I would've studied harder in high school and college so that I wouldn't be sitting in front of a computer today reading and posting to Fodors. I also wished I had skipped to work today or skipped work. ;;)

Pappy Jul 21st, 2006 09:34 AM

Let's see...that bottle of Viper Rum (with an actual dead snake in it) in Belize...the hooker in Costa Rica...accepting the dare to walk home alone at night from that roadside bar in Jamaica...so many regrets.

suze Jul 21st, 2006 11:30 AM

I wish I had stuck with it and learned Spanish as a child. So much harder now.

aliwnec10 Jul 21st, 2006 11:42 AM

i actually meant what would you not do in hawaii? what would you skip if you went back? Not in life.

Tiff Jul 21st, 2006 11:43 AM

Take any trip traveling with more than I can carry on my own.

You never know when you might decide to make your 'party of two' a very quick 'party of one'.

There's a story there, but I'd have to ply you with multiple martinis first...

starrsville Jul 21st, 2006 11:44 AM

How would we know that?

GoTravel Jul 21st, 2006 11:45 AM

Spill the beans Tiff!

Tiff Jul 21st, 2006 11:48 AM

Hawaii or elsewhere, it's safe to say my post still applies...

Alinec, darlin, you gotta be careful how you word your questions, LOL, we are one 'deep thinking' bunch.

With apparently more than one regret...

CAPH52 Jul 21st, 2006 11:49 AM

"i actually meant what would you not do in hawaii? what would you skip if you went back? Not in life."

"How would we know that?"

There's absolutely nothing in either your title or your post to indicate that you're talking about Hawaii.

Tiff Jul 21st, 2006 11:51 AM

And let it be said, I feel I am the better now knowing that one should avoid any drink with a dead snake in it while in Belize.

LOL, Pappy, that was a great post.

GoT ~ The next GTG, dear one, the next GTG...

OneWanderingJew Jul 21st, 2006 12:04 PM

If you even think you're going to get out of this one Miss Tiff, you are sadly mistaken. Start tawkin sistah!
